What do we do?
Faith & Finances training was created by the Chalmers Center to provide church centered financial education for people in vulnerable communities. Faith & Finances training equips those in low-income communities to avoid unjust lending practices, and providing a congregational approach to financial literacy training to help prepare vulnerable people for success. This program is designed for churches and organizations in the United States and Canada who have a desire to walk alongside learners over the long term.
How can the church get involved?
Certify leaders in your church or ministry to:
- Create a concrete financial education ministry plan tailored to your unique setting
- Walk with low-income folks in practical, effective ways
- Address challenges facing financially vulnerable adults
- Apply the relational framework of poverty alleviation described in When Helping Hurts.

Join us as we tackle poverty and bring economic restoration.
